The Local Fry is the brainchild of husband and wife team Kevin & Elizabeth Irish. Elizabeth grew up in Baltimore and Kevin is from Ireland. The pair met while Elizabeth was living in Europe. They married in 2009 and decided to move back to Elizabeths hometown of Baltimore. Since they have moved to Baltimore they have been in the food industry.
The concept of The Local Fry was born when the couple visited Ireland after moving stateside. Baltimore didnt have some of the foods that they craved. The Local Fry menu has many dishes inspired by the couple’s different cultures and travels around the world. The couple believe their fry menu is a reflection of them – An Irish chip meets an American fry.
The menu itself showcases specialty fries topped with unique meats, sauces and fresh vegetables. The Local Fry wants to focus on quality over quantity and makes the majority of its food fresh and from scratch. The restaurant has limited freezer space to enforce a fresh food concept.
If you are a lover of French fries you will not be disappointed at The Local Fry. Whether you feel like Asian, Greek, Mexican or Italian cuisine, The Local Fry has all the cuisines you want in a specialty fry version. If you are not in the mood for fries you can choose from a range of other delicious food such as wings, rice bowls, sandwiches, or salads. The Local Fry also offers BYOB.
